The Painterly Printed Image (Th102)
Artist: Patti Brady
Date: October 15, 2009
Time: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

Painters and non-painters alike will take creative advantage of new grounds that allow artists to combine print and paint in luminous layers. This class will alleviate fears about new printing techniques and open up a world of acrylic skins—actual layers of acrylic paint that can be printed on directly from an inkjet printer. Students will work into these images to transform them, seal them and then create unique mixed media paintings. All supplies are included in this one-day workshop, including digital grounds, gel topcoats, surfaces and an on-site printer. Also available are a large variety of acrylic paints, gels and mediums to glaze, draw, overpaint, collage and pour over the digital images. Every participant will receive samples to take home. All levels are welcome. No additional supplies required, just bring your creative and open mind. Visit www.pattibrady.com for a detailed class description.
